All Camp Packing Checklist

 MANDATORY FIRST DAY – TURN IN TO NURSE – see linked forms 

REQUIRED Forms for Campers, PA/CITs and Adult Volunteers
    1. Event Permission form – (COMPLETED) (see linked form) http://www.girlscouts-gssi.org/private/uploads/2014-15_Event_Permission_Form.pdf  
    2. Medication Administration form (COMPLETED) for ANY medicines your camper will or may take during the camp day that will need to be taken DURING the camp day (see linked form) http://www.girlscouts-gssi.org/private/uploads/2014-15_Medical_Administration_&_Emergency_Treatment_Release.pdf 
      • Any medicine from item 2) above in ORIGINAL container *ONLY Epi-pens & inhalers will remain with camper 
      • For ALL medicine (prescription or OTC) taken by camper - does any of the medicine react with sunlight that requires additional precautions (this is an outdoor camp).
    Additional Forms for Campers entering 4th-12th grades Only
    1. USI Waivers - These programs are facilitated by USI staff

    EVERYDAY – 

    Wearing when they arrive each day:

    1. Closed toe shoes & socks (sneakers, "keen" sandals) shoe must encircle the toe and heal - NO FLIP FLOPS OR CROCS
    2. Sun Hat - or hat that can provide shade to the face and eyes
    3. Shorts, Skorts, or light weight material pants/capris
    4. T-shirt – no spaghetti strap tops

    Bringing with them each day:

    1. Reusable water bottle – Arrive pre-filled with water each morning
    2. All medication the camper requires taking during the camp day (must be turned in directly to nurse) *Epi-pens and inhalers will remain with the camper AFTER nurse reviews
    3. Day Bag containing each day:
      • Lunch Non-Perishable
      • Sunblock – arrive wearing each morning
      • Bug spray – arrive wearing
      • Inexpensive rain poncho (they have these at the dollar store and take very little room)
    4. (OPTIONAL) Sit-Upon (sit-upon, towel, must be easy to carry by your camper – no chairs, stools, buckets)
